Dr Roller Derma Roller – Genuine and Official Derma Rolling System
The official home of the genuine Dr Roller derma rolling system.
Dr Roller – As Seen on TV, in magazines, and in cosmetic clinics.
The Dr Roller derma rolling system is an amazing handheld skin roller which can naturally increase your skin’s level of collagen and elastin.
Scars, stretch marks, wrinkles and pitted skin are all a product of insufficient collagen, so using a Dr Roller on a regular basis enables your skin to rejuvenate and repair itself – returning itself to its former condition. This gives you firmer and younger looking skin without the need for aggressive procedures such as laser therapy, micro dermabrasion and chemical peels.
Dr Roller can be used for:
- Removing stretch marks and treating stretch marks
- Treating acne scars, ice pick scars and chickenpox scars
- Antiwrinkle treatment or anti-ageing
- Restoring hair loss
- Treating or reducing cellulite
- The removal or fading of surgical scars
Don’t spend another day with scars, stretch marks, wrinkles or hair loss when treatment with a Dr Roller device is so easy!
So does the Dr Roller derma rolling system really work outside of cosmetic clinics?
True to say, stars such as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have helped to make cosmetic skin needling famous, but you do not need to go to a Hollywood clinic to be able to get fantastic results in the home. The Dr Roller device is simple enough for anybody to add it to their daily cosmetic routine.

What exactly is a Dr Roller?
The Dr Roller is a device which can be held in the palm of your hand. It is a simple hand-held roller which has 192 gamma sterilised surgical steel micro needles which can gently part the pores of your skin without causing any damage to it. When the pores of your skin are opened in this way, it triggers your body’s healing process and makes your skin permeable to nutrient enriched creams.
Skin biopsy samples have clinically proven up to a 1000% increase in the level of collagen in the skin after a single micro needling session (increasing over the course of six weeks), and the absorption of vitamins C has been shown to be up to 40 times more effective within the first hour after treatment. This is why the vitamin rich treatment cream we supply alongside the Dr Roller product contains vitamins C, vitamin E, aloe vera, and evening primrose oil. Each of these ingredients can assist in the production of collagen and elastin.
Take a look at the Dr Roller derma roller device below. The Dr Roller Derma Roller is available with needles of varying sizes. Our most popular roller is the 1 mm device, but we also stock a 0.5 mm, 1 mm, 1.5 mm, 2 mm (for professional use only) and 2.5 mm (for professional use only). For harder to reach areas, such as be contours around the nose, we provide a three line roller (Dr Roller 3 line Roller) which has been made narrow for easy access.
As you will see from the photograph above, the micro needles are tiny and create a metallic tickling sensation. If longer needles are used, or if the skin roller is used aggressively then numbing cream is recommended. However, for most needle sizes and normal use, most people are happy to use without the use of numbing cream as the Dr Roller process is not painful.
It’s the Dr Roller used under any different names?
Skin needling or micro needling is sometimes also referred to as collagen induction therapy or CIT. So the Dr Roller skin roller is sometimes referred to as a CIT roller. There are other brands of derma rollers, but many are designed to be disposable and may not be gamma sterilised. This is very important for safety, so don’t be misled by disposable brands which do not carry the same FDA certification as the Dr Roller. Our needles are made of high grade surgical steel and will not blunt or bend within a 3 to 6 month period of frequent use. Skin rejuvenation is quick, safe and easy with a Dr Roller Derma Roller.
Dr Roller instructions for use
The use of the Dr Roller Derma Roller is very straightforward and can fit into your day to day cosmetic routine. We provide full written Dr Roller instructions with each roller, and you can visit our Dr Roller instructions page to read all about it on our website.
How long will it take the Dr Roller to rejuvenate my skin?
Your skin renews itself every 40 days, so treatment should be carried out over a three-month period. Of course, it depends upon how damaged your skin is, the needle length you use and the condition you are treating. You will notice differences in your skin within just a few treatments, if not after your very first treatment! The skin remodelling process continues for several weeks if not months after you have used your derma roller, so view each Derma Roller session as stimulus for improvement over time.
In fact, taking before and after pictures is the best way to see how much change has occurred over time. It is difficult to spot very subtle daily changes, but even after a week or two the changes can be dramatic.
Are there any parts of my body that I should not use my Derma Roller on?
But apart from that, you can use the Dr Roller Derma Roller on pretty much any part of your body will stop it will work on your face (forehead, cheeks, chin, nose, crow’s feet, wrinkles, pitted skin, fine lines) arms (forearms, upper arms, lower arms, bingo wings, hands), legs (thighs, calves, knees, cellulite, buttocks), neck, chest, abdomen, tummy, stomach, etc.
How safe is the Dr Roller Derma Roller?
Oriental acupuncture techniques have been around for literally thousands of years and hundreds of thousands of procedures have been carried out without serious side-effects reported. Using a Dr Roller is no different. As long as you apply sensible hygiene precautions there is little or no risk of any complications whatsoever. The Dr Roller device is FDA approved, and manufactured and quality controlled in accordance with ISO/CE/FDA standards. We also gamma sterilised the device according to ISO 11137.
How often do I need to use the Dr Roller derma rolling system?
It is entirely up to you how frequently you use the Dr Roller device. For needle sizes up to 1 mm you can use the roller up to 5 times per week, for the 1.5 mm needle size, you should roll no more than three times per week and for professional use rollers you should be treated no more than once per month. Using the roller gently with light pressure should not result in any bleeding or major discomfort. The skin of your face is more sensitive than the skin on your body.
If you would prefer to use the roller more aggressively with the use of numbing cream, then the amount of times the roller needs to be used is less, but the healing process still takes the same amount of time. On this basis we would normally advocate gentle frequent use rather than intermittent aggressive use. This way the same result is achieved, without an unnecessary level of trauma.
You may find that use of the roller encourages a slight reddening of your skin, similar to sunburn, for up to an hour after use. This period is extended when the roller is used aggressively.
